Clean Harbors is actively seeking a motivated

Class B Commercial Driver

to operate various light and heavy-duty trucks and work equipment at customer locations. Some of the vehicles you will operate include Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders. This dynamic position involves both driving and hands-on responsibilities associated with hazardous waste clean-up. Key Details: Work schedule: Monday through Friday, with an average start time of 7:00 am Expect to work 50-70 hours per week, with overtime paid after 40 hours Travel overnight up to 30-50% of the time; hotel accommodations and per diem are provided Must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment Why Join Clean Harbors? Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to safe work practices and policies. Drive commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed in a collaborative team environment. Operate a variety of Class B trucks effectively. Load and unload trucks safely. Ensure top-notch customer satisfaction at the time of service. Maintain proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations. Keep accurate daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and guidelines. Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT standards and company procedures. Perform additional duties as required. Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and safe handling of hazardous materials. Qualifications: Possess a valid Class B CDL. Willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Ability to operate various mobile devices. Capability to perform physical tasks as required by the job. Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical exam for the position. Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard. Preferred Qualifications: Commercial driving experience. Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Prior experience handling hazardous materials. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Experience in manual labor roles.
