Who We’re Looking For We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead application portfolio optimization and enterprise architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will document and analyze application characteristics, align business capabilities to processes and support modernization through rationalization and risk assessment. The Enterprise Architect role works closely with senior leadership to update enterprise architecture (EA) strategies, centralize EA data and support decision-making for future-state planning. Drive application portfolio optimization (APO) by documenting application characteristics, dependencies, business alignments and data flows. Lead application rationalization initiatives using captured data to recommend modernization opportunities. Conduct analyses and risk assessments to inform architecture decisions. Collaborate with the Chief Architect to maintain and update enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps and plans. Serve as the subject matter expert for EA tools, including Alfabet. Partner with data management teams to centralize EA data within enterprise data platforms. Organize and chair working groups and forums related to enterprise architecture. What You Need To Know

Strong understanding of application portfolio optimization and enterprise architecture planning. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Experience with documenting and analyzing application characteristics, alignments and relationships. Familiarity with EA tools, preferably Alfabet. Ability to conduct risk assessments and support modernization initiatives. Must Have’s

Associate’s degree substitutes for 2 years of experience; Bachelor’s degree substitutes for 3 years of experience. 5+ years of relevant experience. Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking. Excellent communications skill, both written and verbal and comfortable with verbal presentations. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen in compliance with federal contract requirements.
