This position is key to our retail success, where Customer Service Specialists engage with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions with Sherwin-Williams products. You'll play a vital role in resolving customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction while remaining informed about product features and maintaining the store's high-quality standards.
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work towards achieving stellar customer service and meet our sales goals consistently. Your responsibilities will include direct customer interactions, which may involve minors, as well as managing cash and other payment methods in both supervised and unsupervised settings.

Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
Assist customers both in-person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting suitable products.
Establish strong, trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
Efficiently pull and mix products according to customer specifications.
Keep store displays and shelves organized and attractive.
Perform cleaning of store equipment as needed.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Support store delivery tasks as necessary.
Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and communicate available options to customers.
Adhere to inventory control procedures.
Propose ideas to boost sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Legal authorization to work in the country without visa sponsorship.
Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Able to retrieve materials and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without accommodation.
Availability to work scheduled hours, inclusive of evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
One year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
Prior experience selling paint and related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
Proficiency to communicate in multiple languages is beneficial.
Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.
