Responsibilities

As a Territory Manager representing our Therma-Tru, Fypon, and Larson brands, you’ll have the opportunity to grow top line sales within the Southeast Texas / Southwest Louisiana territory. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key and prospective distributor accounts to drive future sales growth. Develops business plan and targets for market and channel growth through conversion within assigned territory. Owns existing customer relationships but spends the majority of time cultivating new relationships with key distributors, dealers, and builders within the assigned territory Primary contact for escalation of issues by customer accounts of Segment Managers/Specialists Collaborates with Regional Managers on establishing market pricing consistent with existing market dynamics. Collaborate with Regional Managers, R&D, Engineering, and Quality Control regarding new products and competitor’s information, as well as communicating field and quality issues. Communicate and train customers on Therma-Tru, Fypon, and Larson products and range of value-added services. Present and implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs and materials to customers. Proactively and effectively assist in resolving service issues in partnership with Customer Service Group. Effectively handle all administrative tasks (activity reports, future/prospective opportunities, expenses, etc.) in a timely manner. Maintain current database on customers and prospects (CRM) Attend trade shows as necessary. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have outside sales experience within Millwork (decking, railing, windows, doors, etc.) or general building materials, be extremely motivated and autonomous, and be available to travel overnight. 5-7 years of outside sales experience (preferably within Millwork or Building Materials) Experience calling on distributors, dealers, builders and/or contractors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - enjoys public speaking and has ability to demonstrate products and company advantages to groups of all sizes Skilled in using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel,) Skilled in using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) Nice To Have

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field Professional sales training program or certificate Bilingual in Spanish and English What We Offer

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $75,000 USD - $95,000 USD.
