-by helping improve oral health worldwide. We are seeking an accomplished Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic UX & Design team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the UX design efforts for some of our cloud-based dentistry applications (DS Core), driving innovations that empower dental practioners and transform the delivery of dental care. Primary Job Responsibilities:
UX scoping: Take charge of defining and scoping UX requirements of various overarching product areas in collaboration with other UX team members and key stakeholders, including product managers and clinicians Advanced Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and comprehensive design specifications that articulate complex design concepts and interactions. Use insights from UX research to guide design decisions and iterate on solutions Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, other UX team members including the design system team, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the clinical application development process Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in both tech and dental care. Push the boundaries of innovation by incorporating cutting-edge practices and continually enhancing the user experience Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior UX designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Share expertise and best practices to elevate the overall design capabilities of the team Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience Years and Type of Experience:
5+ years of experience as a UX designer or interaction designer, with a demonstrated ability to lead design projects from conception to execution A strong portfolio showcasing a range of complex UX design projects and the processes behind them is a must Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers and Architects/technical leads throughout the design process. Skilled in navigating diverse perspectives and integrating various viewpoints into cohesive design solutions Advanced knowledge and application of user-centered design methodologies, such as prototyping, user journeys, and personas. Ability to tailor methods to suit complex project requirements and stakeholder needs Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:
Business English Fluency is a must. Mastery of any other languages are a plus Experience in designing complex B2B products is advantageous 10% of travel is expected in this role The base salary and target annual incentive for this role located in Massachusetts is between $160,000-175,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
