Overview
The Director of Imaging Sales leads by example and acts as the strategic backbone for all Sales Reps focused on managed print and production. They coach teams to identify customer needs, foster pipeline growth, and achieve revenue targets. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, you’ll craft and execute territory strategies, support national expansion, and cultivate a high-performance sales culture.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Serve as the first-line strategist for Sales Reps on managed print and production solutions for Xerox, Canon, Toshiba and HP
Align sales team efforts with company and departmental objectives
Team Coaching & Leadership
Manage Sales Reps weekly on pipeline strategy and deal acceleration through one on ones
Lead new hire onboarding and ongoing development in partnership with L&D
Recruit, manage performance (including coaching and disciplinary action), and develop teams to ensure their goals and company goals are met
Performance Management & Forecasting
Provide accurate monthly forecasts and oversee execution against goals
Conduct field coaching ride days with sales team members weekly to include prospecting, networking, meetings and account reviews
Strategize active sales opportunities weekly, ensuring deal progression and best practices
Cultural Leadership & Innovation
Drive a results-driven and collaborative sales environment by conducting weekly team meetings to encourage and develop the skills of team members
Introduce solution-selling methodologies and innovative approaches
Adapt quickly under pressure, showing resilience and creative problem-solving
Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in B2B sales, with 3+ years in sales leadership
Demonstrated success growing print or production revenue across territories
Skills
Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical sales knowledge
Excellent coaching, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
High resilience, quick decision-making, and comfort with sustained high activity levels
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Other
Comfortable working under pressure, with frequent travel
Physical ability to handle standard office demands, including occasional lifting (~35 lbs)
Prolonged sitting and standing along with using various forms of technology
Valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation
This is an in-office position with travel to different Proven offices and field coaching with team members weekly
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, operate office equipment, and sit for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations available.

After a 30-day waiting period, full-time employees (who work at least 30 hours per week) and their dependents are eligible to enroll in health benefits through Cigna. Health options include a choice of 2 PPO plans and a High Deductible Health plan. Dental benefits are available through BCBS as well as a Vision PPO plan utilizing the EyeMed network. EMPLOYER PROVIDED LIFE/AD&D INSURANCE:
After a 30-day waiting period, Proven IT provides a flat $25,000 Life Insurance benefit to all full-time employees. Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits are payable up to the full Life Insurance amount and reduce with age.
EMPLOYER PROVIDED LTD:
Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance provides protection from loss of income in case of long-term illness or injury. The elimination period is 90 days, with a maximum benefit of 60% of covered payroll up to $6,000/month. This benefit is paid entirely by Proven IT at no cost to the employee.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:
Resources through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois for emotional, legal, and financial support, including telephonic counseling and web-based services, with limited face-to-face sessions available.
401K PLAN:
Eligible after 120 days of service to contribute to the 401(k) plan with an employer match of 100% of the first 3% deferrals plus 50% of the next 2% deferrals.
FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES:
Merrill Lynch financial advisors are available to assist with 401(k) and retirement questions at no cost.
PERMISSIVE TIME OFF POLICY:
Competitive paid time off after a 90-day waiting period. Time off requests may be managed by managers based on performance and tenure.
PARENTAL LEAVE:
After 24 months of employment, full-time regular employees receive 90 days of paid maternity leave and 10 days of paid paternity leave. Less than 24 months of service may use unpaid leave on similar terms.
