The Director of Sales Operations and Training will lead the Interventional Solutions Sales Strategy and Training teams. This high-impact, fast-paced role is responsible for driving commercial and data strategies through actionable analytics and insights. As a strategic and collaborative leader, you will partner across the commercial organization to maximize the effectiveness of the field sales organization through strategy development, execution, and performance optimization. You will also lead the training team responsible for designing, implementing, and continually enhancing a comprehensive sales training strategy that aligns with business objectives, go-to-market strategies, and evolving market trends. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Cardiology Sales Strategy and requires travel of approximately 25%–40%. Work model, sponsorship, relocation

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Operations team to achieve organizational goals. Provide leadership on all aspects of Sales Operations including commercial strategy, sales compensation, quota setting, sales awards, sales analytics, budget management, and program management. Drive Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan deliverables. Set direction for overall selling budgets and guidelines. Define annual and quarterly organizational goals. Deliver reporting and insights to field sales leadership to support business performance. Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Influence adoption of commercial strategies through data-driven storytelling. Define, delegate, and manage strategic projects to enhance business performance. Partner with Sales and Marketing VPs to maintain industry knowledge and competitive awareness to prioritize sales training strategies and other initiatives. Align training programs with business objectives, go-to-market strategies, and emerging technologies. Guide, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering leadership practices throughout the organization. Promote a diverse, inclusive workplace that enables employees to reach their full potential. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years' professional experience Minimum of 5 years' experience combined in sales operations, finance, sales, and sales training Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams in sales operations, finance, sales, or sales training Exceptional oral and written communication skills Vision and leadership skills to drive organizational change Proven successful track record across sales operations, finance, sales, and sales training Ability to travel 25%–40% (based on location) Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree Finance background Superior program management, organizational, and process skills Requisition ID: 613802 Salary range : $150,500 – $286,000 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see the benefits site – will vary based on actual location and other factors. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable experience, education, and certifications. At BSC, it is not typical to hire near the bottom or top of the salary range. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may include variable compensation (e.g., overtime and shift differential) and an annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility).
