75191 The Role at a Glance

As an External wholesaler for Retirement Plan Services you will develop, direct, implement, and maintain a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals for your assigned external wholesale area(s). You will build, enhance, and direct the relationship with firms and/or institutions in your assigned territory of Northern California. You will also build, direct, and maintain external wholesale sales programs/plans which result in an increase in sales revenue and market share within the assigned territory. What you’ll be doing

Builds and directs a more complex relationship platform by identifying senior contacts within targeted firms to achieve profitable sales and Lincoln’s product breadth and growth. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance. Conducts firm/institution meetings and in-person meetings to achieve sales targets (e.g., due diligence meetings, one-on-one meetings, sponsorship and speaking opportunities). Develops a comprehensive understanding of existing/targeted firms/institutions including targeted market segments, how they operate, and value proposition(s). Develops and maintains a more complex sales program to increase sales revenue and market share within the assigned area. Increases penetration in the territory by optimizing and growing relationships within existing more complex firms/institutions. Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems and/or completes sales reports. Meets or exceeds all department and/or sales goals/targets for the assigned territory. Uses expense budgets to set limits and maximize sales opportunities within the territory. Supports growth in all Lincoln product/service offerings to maximize cross-sell opportunities within assigned firms/institutions. Adheres to LFDs Culture of Compliance and complies with LFDs policies and procedures. What we’re looking for

Must-Haves 3-5 years’ external sales experience in the financial services industry aligned with the responsibilities FINRA Series SIE, 6, 63, L&H Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Analytical skills and close attention to detail for proper processing of investment documents Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to write grammatically correct routine business correspondence Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment Must reside in territory Application Deadline

Pay The pay range for this position is $190,000 - $480,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Pay may vary above or below the range as permitted by applicable law and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications. The base pay is one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package. The role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program and other rewards may include long-term incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package. About The Company
