Sono Bello is seeking a dynamic and strategic Corporate Events Manager to lead our internal and external events strategy—bringing high-impact experiences to life that inspire, connect, and drive business results. This role will oversee the execution of all corporate events, from intimate team-building moments to large-scale leadership conferences and awards shows. The Manager will report to the Director of Project Management, manage the in-house Corporate Event Planner, and collaborate with Marketing, Field Communications, HR, and Executive Leadership to ensure events align with brand goals, reinforce culture, and create memorable, high-quality experiences. The CEO is highly engaged in all corporate events and has a specific vision for what he wants; the Corporate Events Manager will work closely with the CEO to bring that vision to life. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of high-visibility events Develop annual event calendars and strategies aligned with business goals and company culture Ensure all events are aligned with brand standards and elevate team member and guest experience Negotiate vendor contracts, including venue, travel, lodging, production, and transportation Build strategic partnerships with hotels, airlines, and travel providers to secure competitive rates and exceptional service Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to concept and execute revenue-generating events (lead-generation activations, experiential campaigns, regional events, and trade shows) Own all event budgets; forecast and track expenses with attention to cost efficiency and ROI Evaluate event success through post-event reporting and engagement metrics; manage risks and contingency plans; ensure safety and accessibility standards Manage, mentor, and grow the Corporate Event Planner; collaborate with HR, Facilities, Communications, Marketing, and IT Serve as a primary point of contact for executive leadership on key event strategy and logistics Required Skills and Abilities
6+ years of progressive experience in corporate event management, including at least 2 years managing large-scale events (500+ attendees) Proven success managing complex events (conferences, summits, or trade shows) from concept to execution Budget management experience for programs exceeding $250K Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills Ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as event schedules require Strategic mindset with hands-on planning, execution, and problem-solving abilities Strong negotiation skills and a track record of building trusted relationships with vendors, travel providers, hotels, and partners Composed and solution-oriented under pressure; able to adapt quickly in dynamic environments Highly organized and detail-driven with experience managing complex timelines and cross-functional teams Familiarity with the Pacific Northwest event landscape (Bellevue/Seattle) CMP or CSEP certification a plus Work Environment
On-site at the Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA for a minimum of 3 days a week. May work in remote office locations on Wednesdays and Fridays. Compensation
Salary range for this role is $89,200 - $111,500 depending on experience. Benefits
