Digital Account Executive – Communications Agency - NYC or DC. Fenton is the social change agency taking on the world’s toughest challenges in human rights, social and economic justice, environment, education, and public health. A fast-growing, award-winning agency, we lead in diverse representation and operate as a remote-forward organization with hubs in New York City and Washington DC. Staff reside within 35 miles of these hubs; work is primarily from home with in-person gatherings as needed. Our clients are foundations, advocacy groups, and global brands. We develop and execute strategic public awareness campaigns and offer communications services including campaign messaging, media relations, digital strategy, and branding. We are seeking a Digital Account Executive passionate about making social change. Responsibilities
Provide project management support on digital projects, including internal and client-facing communications and timeline management Prepare and/or review activity reports and status reports for clients Collaborate with the creative team to design engaging content for various digital platforms Participate in the Fenton Learning Lab to deepen knowledge and technical skills Digital Expertise
Assist with content strategy planning across digital workstreams (social media, email, websites, etc.) Draft social media content from ideation to launch, including scheduling, posting, and day-to-day community management Develop strategic email campaigns rooted in email strategy; implement updates to client websites and/or applications for select accounts Develop, implement, and manage email campaigns that effectively communicate client messages and achieve campaign goals Learn basic HTML and CSS for email program implementation and light website/landing page edits Manage and organize client CRM (NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, Mailchimp, Pardot, etc.) Analyze performance metrics and create client reports based on KPIs and best practices Conduct digital research, including landscape and digital media audits; create website audits using analytics tools and develop wireframes Support new business pitches and contribute to creative brainstorms; stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing You are

1-2 years of experience in a full-time digital strategy/social media/email role in an agency or in-house (non-profit, foundation, or relevant industry) Working knowledge of social media content management platforms (e.g., Meta Business Manager, Instagram Creator Studio) Experience with at least one email platform (NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, Mailchimp, Pardot, etc.) Proficiency in Google Analytics and digital best practices Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges Strong writing and editing skills; ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail Salary expectations aligned with industry standards; starting Salary for Account Executive - $65,000 Year-end discretionary bonus; comprehensive healthcare plans; pre-tax commuter benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA); 401K with employer match; profit sharing plan Unlimited PTO for exempt staff and generous accrual for non-exempt staff; 11 paid holidays; discretionary company closing between Christmas and New Year’s Hybrid remote/in-office model; must live within a 35-mile radius of one of our hubs (New York, DC, LA, or SF) or be able to travel to company meetings/events; option to work remotely or from coworking spaces Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time Fenton is an anti-racist, intersectional organization prioritizing the needs of historically marginalized groups.
