QA Test Lead (Charlotte or Plano)

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a QA Test Lead (Charlotte or Plano) to join their team. As a QA Test Lead (Charlotte or Plano), you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
QA Test Lead
Location:
Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion
What's the Job?
Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple teams in large projects with tight timelines
Manage test case management using tools like qtest, HP ALM, Octane, etc.
Develop and maintain testing artifacts such as test strategies, plans, cases, and evidence
Coordinate with development teams for defect triaging and resolution
Generate metrics and reports to communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies
What's Needed?
Experience in Software Testing and test management tools like JIRA, qTest, or similar
Proficiency with databases and writing complex SQL queries
Hands-on experience with upstream and downstream system integrations
Strong organizational and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
Technical background with a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
