Overview
A well-established and fast-growing manufacturer in the consumer goods space is seeking a Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive end-to-end planning excellence across North American and international operations. Lead a cross-functional S&OP transformation, partnering with senior leadership to shape strategy, optimize performance, and unlock growth. What You’ll Do
Own and lead the global S&OP process — from design and implementation to continuous improvement. Align demand, supply, and inventory planning to business goals through collaboration with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams. Drive forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency. Facilitate monthly executive S&OP meetings and deliver data-backed insights to support strategic decisions. Lead and mentor a high-performing planning team across demand, supply, and inventory functions. Influence decision-making at the highest levels and champion a culture of accountability, visibility, and agility. What You’ll Bring
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain planning, with deep expertise in S&OP and inventory optimization. A track record of success in complex manufacturing environments — consumer goods experience preferred. Strong command of planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle) and advanced Excel; Smartsheet knowledge a plus. Expertise in building scalable processes, managing cross-functional teams, and fostering strategic alignment. A Bachelor’s degree (required); a Master’s or relevant certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are highly preferred. Why This Role
