CDL Driver (Local) – San Francisco, CA Airgas is Hiring for a CDL Driver in San Francisco. We are looking for you! !!! HOME EVERY NIGHT !!! Pay: CDL A license holders make $35/hr. Pay: CDL B license holders make $33.25/hr. Monday–Friday schedule with the occasional weekend We start work in the morning and end in the late afternoon Referral bonus: $1000 Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology such as on-board computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation. This position loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Load and unload their truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers Make deliveries in a timely manner Safely strap and unstrap cylinders Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; the physical nature of this position is labor-intensive Drivers will frequently exit their vehicle A day in the life of an Airgas driver: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tH-wd5hJeMk ________________________ Required Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years (or a combination of one conviction and one at-fault accident) No driving under the influence within the last seven years Must be able to work in a drug-free environment Benefits
