SaaS Sales Representative - Capital One Software (Remote) Ever since our first credit card customer in 1994, Capital One has recognized that technology and data can enable innovation and personalization. We are seeking top talent to join our pioneering team. You will join a team of product, tech, and design leaders and be on the forefront of building this business and bringing these tools to market. Who we are searching for: Capital One Software is looking for a tenacious Software Sales Professional to join our newly established Business Development Team. In a SaaS startup-type, B2B environment, you will effectively seek and manage new business opportunities and provide consulting and guidance to internal partners. The entrepreneurial spirit required means you will be intelligent about market trends and leverage sales techniques to enable a best-in-class business development shop. Roles and Responsibilities
Leverage customer and competitor insights, analytics and creative thinking to develop compelling deck materials to support meetings and pitches with prospective partners. Identify impediments to the business development process and autonomously solve or escalate to senior leaders as needed. Utilize multiple channels (email, phone, direct mail, LinkedIn) to prospect and set presentations with potential clients. Create testing, evaluation and performance feedback processes. Provide ongoing consumer research expertise and consultation to internal partners and senior leaders in support of marketing strategy decisions. Lead research design, execution and delivery of insights across brand measurement sources and studies; proactively engage in outbound activity to target ideal customers. Track and manage sales activities in CRM. Communicate customer needs with software developers, managers and executives. Submit orders for sales processing and negotiate service agreements and product prices with customers. Discuss software needs with customers to determine best-matched products; advise customers on technical matters regarding their software options. Business Growth & Collaboration
Develop understanding of partner dynamics and identify opportunities to strengthen strategic relationships to grow businesses and improve customer experience. Influence senior leaders on storytelling, value propositions and marketing recommendations. Evaluate industry trends and collaborate with partners to advance Capital One Software projects and products that positively impact the customer experience. Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Success and others to drive quality, volume, service and profitability improvements. Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability and competitive success in a changing market. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 2 years of experience in business development using a CRM At least 2 years of experience with Enterprise SaaS Sales Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of Salesforce, Databricks, or other cloud-related technology sales platform 5+ years of experience in business development using a CRM 2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake 3+ years of experience with Enterprise SaaS Sales Ability to influence, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced environment Note:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Remote roles: $165,000; Richmond, VA: $165,000; San Francisco, CA: $165,000. The actual offers may vary by location. This role may be eligible for incentive compensation including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
