Overview
Senior Program/Acquisition Manager to support the HH-60W Modernization Branch for the Air Force Helicopter Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The Senior Acquisition Manager shall demonstrate knowledge of the DoD acquisition system and program documentation required at any phase of a program's life. The Contractor shall support development of requirements documents to support acquisition and sustainment efforts and assist in coordinating resources (financial, management, procurement, engineering, and logistics) and consolidating their inputs into common documents. The Contractor shall assist in planning for the accomplishment of various program milestones and in developing acquisition documents IAW Air Force standards. The Contractor shall assist in developing acquisition strategies and preparing documentation/products in support of HPO programs. The Contractor shall manage integration issues arising from reviews, evaluations, and assessments IAW DoD 5000.02, FAR, DFAR, and other references; assist with writing, reviewing, and editing program documentation to ensure weapon system changes are accurately identified and recorded. Documents may include Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines, Risk Management Plans, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and milestone decision briefs. Assist with writing, coordinating, staffing, and maintaining program documentation, including requirements, cost, schedule, performance, risk, impacts, and development of acquisition reports (statutory and regulatory reports such as DAES, MAR, etc.). Provide support for acquisition and sustainment planning, documentation development, and coordination of resources across financial, management, procurement, engineering, and logistics. Develop and format acquisition documents in accordance with Air Force standards; assist in developing acquisition strategies and supporting documentation/products for HPO programs. Assist in writing, reviewing, and editing program documentation to accurately identify and record weapon system changes; prepare documents such as Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Acquisition Strategies, and PMRs. Assist in writing, coordinating, staffing, and maintaining documentation related to requirements, cost, schedule, performance, risk, and regulatory reporting (e.g., DAES, MAR). Qualifications
Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance is Required. Must be a U.S. citizen. Experience: At least twelve (12) years in the respective technical/professional discipline, with five (5) years in the DoD; or twenty (20) years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight (8) years in the DoD. Education: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) or BA/BS with substitution rules: 15 years of experience in the respective discipline, five of which in DoD; or 20 years experience with certifications.
