Senior Technical Recruiter - Program Manager position based in the Bay Area, CA. Compensation: $135,000 – $165,000 base salary (plus bonus & benefits). This is a hands-on, high-impact role with ownership and cross-functional collaboration across propulsion, avionics, and integration teams. What You’ll Do

Own the design and development of propellant distribution and regulation systems for noble gases and supercritical propellants. Specify, qualify, and sustain valves, regulators, restrictors, seals, manifolds, and pressure vessels for spacecraft applications. Perform system-level modeling (flow, thermal, structural) to predict in-flight performance. Lead qualification and acceptance test campaigns: proof, leak, flow, vibration, and thermal vacuum. Drive reliability efforts including FMEA, fault-tree analysis, and root cause investigations. Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless subsystem integration and flight readiness. Develop system specifications, test plans/reports, and compliance documentation aligned with aerospace standards. What We’re Looking For

B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline. 6+ years of experience in spacecraft/aerospace fluid systems (propulsion feed systems preferred). Expertise in noble gas and supercritical fluid handling for propulsion. Proven knowledge of valves, regulators, and sealing technologies for spaceflight hardware. Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred), MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS or equivalent tools. Hands-on experience with qualification & acceptance testing of flight hardware. Familiarity with aerospace standards (NASA, MIL-STD, ECSS, or equivalent). Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Preferred Skills

Direct experience with electric propulsion systems (Hall-effect or ion thrusters). Background in cryogenic systems, plasma propulsion, or high-pressure vessels. Familiarity with AFSPCMAN 91-710 range safety requirements for pressurized systems. Hands-on experience with hardware integration & ground support equipment. Additional Info

Must meet ITAR/EAR compliance as a U.S. Person or be eligible for licensing. Subject to background checks and, where applicable, government contract clearance. Applicants in San Francisco will be considered consistent with the Fair Chance Ordinance. Why Join Us?

You’ll play a mission-critical role in advancing next-generation electric propulsion technologies, helping define the future of sustainable space exploration. This is your chance to take full technical ownership of complex fluid systems while working alongside a world-class team building the next era of spacecraft.
