Manufacturing Engineering Manager

to lead process development, equipment design, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced production environment. What You’ll Do Lead and guide a team of engineers and technical staff to support manufacturing operations. Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes that ensure product quality and reliability. Collaborate across departments to align engineering efforts with production, quality, and customer requirements. Design and improve manufacturing equipment and tooling to enhance productivity and safety. Manage cross-functional project teams through planning, execution, and delivery phases. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation. Oversee facility systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety infrastructure. Champion safe work practices and support environmental compliance efforts (ISO 14001). What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or project engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in Tier 1 OEM Automotive or Heavy-Duty Truck manufacturing preferred. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools. Familiarity with TS 16949 quality systems and customer-specific requirements. Technical expertise in print reading, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and metrology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP (or similar ERP), and CAD software (Pro-E or equivalent). Excellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis, SPC, and 8D methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
