Job Description
The Mobility Engineer is responsible for supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of mobile devices and endpoints using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Defender, Azure, and Tanium. The engineer will work on routine tasks, support incidents, assist with imaging / onboarding, and liaise between tier 2 and tier 3 support teams. Key Responsibilities
Enroll, configure, and provision mobile devices (iOS, Android) and endpoint devices (Windows/Mac) using Microsoft Intune. Apply and maintain device compliance and security policies (including conditional access via Azure AD). Assist with patching, updates, and firmware / OS roll-outs via Intune and Tanium. Support device and application management, including packaging / deployment of applications. Monitor alerts & device health; perform routine triage for device issues (connectivity, enrollment, sync). Basic root-cause investigation and problem resolution; escalate where required. Maintain inventory, asset tagging, and documentation of configurations, procedures, known issues, and solutions. Participate in change management, follow ticketing / ITIL practices for incidents and requests. Required Qualifications / Skills
1-4 years of experience in endpoint / device management / mobility / helpdesk / support roles. Familiarity / working knowledge of Microsoft Intune; some exposure to Azure AD and basic device/user policy configuration. Basic understanding of endpoint security principles (e.g. encryption, MFA, device compliance). Good troubleshooting skills; ability to follow known procedures and escalate appropriately. Strong communication skills; able to document issues and communicate with non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications
