Chicago, IL - hybrid Experience:
3+ years in wind turbine service or utility-scale wind operations Focus:
Equipment performance, drivetrain systems, root cause analysis, and optimization Base pay range:
$85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Analyze turbine performance and reliability data to identify trends and recommend improvements Lead root cause analyses and develop action plans for mechanical and hydraulic issues Support field teams with technical guidance on troubleshooting and interventions Monitor and optimize maintenance strategies (preventive and corrective) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliability programs Interpret oil, grease, and vibration analysis reports to drive proactive maintenance Develop technical specifications for new parts, tools, and corrective actions Travel to wind sites across the U.S. and Canada Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience working on wind turbines (OEM or utility-scale) Strong understanding of turbine internals, especially drivetrain, hydraulics, and mechanical systems Experience supporting or leading field interventions and service operations Proactive, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools Willingness to travel across North America and Canada when the support can\'t be provided remotely Additional Information
