Electrical Engineer III , you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Designer and Engineers to design new product parts and assemblies. Develop, oversee and execute tests, both electrical and mechanical according to project schedules. Interpret, analyze and summarize data, identify trends, prepare reports and formulate conclusions. Work with laboratory team members to perform tests. Use formal problem-solving techniques to address quality and reliability issues. Interact with customers on the phone or in the field to resolve design, manufacturing or application related issues. Evaluate and provide detailed, written engineering reports on returned products. Deliver sign solutions that allow for stable and capable manufacturing processes which meet targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost. What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field. 7 years minimum of product support, design and development experience. Good electrical/mechanical aptitude to be able to aid in the design and testing of fuse products. Good communication skills, written and spoken in order to clearly present ideas in a variety of forums. Excellent problem-solving skills. Very strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work with team members at all levels across the organization. Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Major Physical Demands
Standing: Continuously required to sit for work. Walking: Frequently walking throughout the facility. Carrying: Occasional carrying of light objects. Pushing: Infrequent pushing of objects. Observation/Eyesight: Frequently required to observe details at close range including depth perception, peripheral vision and the ability to differentiate between colors.
