Sr. Electrical Engineer Basic Function As part of the Engineering team, the Sr. Electrical Engineer provides subject matter expertise on Electrical Engineering design (LV, MV, and HV), final engineering, and construction permitting of utility-scale solar, energy storage, and data center projects. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical designs are optimized for efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

Create and manage Electrical Engineering design standards to set requirements for quality, presentation standards, and cost-effectiveness Perform project design reviews at milestones during final design and coordinate internal reviews and approvals by key stakeholders Review medium voltage collection systems (MVac/MVdc), interconnection, and substation system designs (HVac/HVdc) Optimize project designs by applying knowledge of MV collection, transformers, switching, relaying, back-up power, and substation design including best practices, specifications, cost, efficiency, code compliance, performance, and reliability Review and evaluate RFI, RFP, and RFQ submittals Provide technical review and guidance on equipment selection and approved vendor list Support O&M team with technical knowledge and troubleshooting Design and manage the data center white space, including rack layout, hot/cold containment, network infrastructure, branch circuit distribution, power requirements, cable pathways, and projected build phases Collaborate with colo providers and internal stakeholders to deliver project design criteria and Basis of Design Participate in the development of data center facilities requirements documentation Research and evaluate new designs, materials, and construction methods for data center electrical and mechanical equipment and related components Participate in project coordination meetings and clearly communicate updates to project scheduling Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering for utility-scale solar and storage power plants BSEE with a focus on Power Systems from ABET-accredited university; MS and PE license are a plus Strong engineering, design, and communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic team environment and solve traditional problems in new ways Deep knowledge of MV collection, transmission line, converters, and HVAC/HVDC substation design including Protection & Control, SCADA, and Telecommunications Proficient in AutoCAD and Visio Experience in design of On-Site Renewable Energy Generation, PPAs, RECs, Microgrids, and Energy Storage Design experience for backup power solutions with varying redundancy levels based on data center load criticality Ability to work independently and handle unique situations autonomously; manage multiple concurrent projects Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure Experience designing, integrating, and managing SCADA systems and network infrastructure within data centers Experience in vendor management Expertise in cabling infrastructure best practices Understanding of industrial/commercial electrical one-lines Experience with BMS/EPMS control systems and data collection/trending Experience in developing MOPs/SOPs/EOPs for systems operations Knowledge of data center PUE and redundancy requirements at network and power levels Experience with data center mechanical design is a plus Proficient in reading blueprints and building documentation Proven problem-solving skills Travel

The position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel. Compensation

Base Pay: 110000-140000 The pay range is a guideline. Offers are tailored based on skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks, with consideration for internal parity. Total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus, a long-term incentive plan, and a comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
