Job Title: Distribution & Supply Chain Specialist Southern California (Hybrid Schedule)
About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Distribution & Supply Chain Specialist to lead and optimize our logistics operations across B2B and e-commerce channels. This is a strategic, hands-on role covering everything from ocean freight and trucking to warehouse and vendor management. What You’ll Do
Oversee all aspects of 3PL distribution and logistics, including inbound/outbound transportation, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment.
Manage ocean freight, FTL, LTL, and rail shipments to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery from Mexico to our U.S. distribution center and nationwide customers.
Develop distribution strategies to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Partner with procurement, planning, sales, and marketing to align supply chain activities with demand forecasts.
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to balance supply and demand.
Manage and negotiate with 3PL providers and transportation vendors.
Use ERP and TMS systems to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
Mentor and lead a logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
Track KPIs to measure performance and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with transportation, warehousing, and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, or related field ).
8+ years of progressive experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management (manufacturing or CPG strongly ).
Proven experience in both B2B and e-commerce distribution.
Strong knowledge of ocean freight, FTL, LTL, and rail logistics.
Expertise in forecasting, planning, purchasing, and S&OP.
ERP experience (Oracle, JDE, AS400, or MS Dynamics) plus WMS/TMS proficiency.
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
