Overview
We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer to work on the night shift (Monday to Friday between 9 pm and 6 am). The RTO will be based on-site, overseeing the water mains rehabilitation work carried out by the contractor. Responsibilities
Working with the Project Manager and contract management, carrying out site supervision of contractors’ teams. Manage and work closely with contractors carrying out pipe rehabilitation and pipe laying works according to design and requirements. Track contractor progress and monitor site safety. Site documentation and bookkeeping for reporting purposes. Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in civil/environmental engineering. Registration as a Resident Technical Officer in Singapore. At least 5 years of experience in site supervision for civil engineering works, specifically in pipe rehabilitation, pipe jacking, pipe laying and tunnelling works for water infrastructure projects. Certification in WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors – Manhole (SIC)) will be an added advantage.
