Job Description: Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Software Engineer to join a highly talented development team in building modern online simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member developing an online modeling and simulation software platform that enables end users to train and explore new technology concepts virtually anywhere. Responsibilities: Develop realistic simulation environment emulating real world systems and platforms Develop simulation models for sensors, communications, digital entity movement, AI enabled behaviors, electronic effects, and command and control Design, build, and push a new product to an emerging marketspace Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology Deliver high quality product features exceeding client expectations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience Strong C++ 17 or later experience Experience utilizing DoD modeling and simulation environments, NGTS, AFSIM, JSE, etc. Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming Experience with developing sub-system and system level models 2+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team Experience building, testing and deploying software Experience with Git in a team environment Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements Preferred qualifications: DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance Software development experience with C++ Experience building and shipping products Hardware integration and embedded system programing Hardware-in-the-loop simulation experience Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP) Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed What we offer: $95,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
