CAD Designer

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The key responsibilities include: Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using computer aided design (CAD). Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Preferred qualifications include: 3 to 5 years CAD experience knowledge in low voltage systems pertaining to security and life safety systems. Knowledge in low voltage systems pertaining to security and life safety systems. Ability to work in all AutoCAD versions and be able to quickly adapt to new CAD standards and procedures. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
