Role Overview This role focuses on team management and embedded electronic design and product development for SharkNinja’s ambitious product roadmap of vacuum and cleaning products. The successful candidate will have experience in analog and digital embedded design, including hardware (schematic capture and PCB layout) and firmware (C and ASM), preferably in consumer products or similar. The engineer will participate in shaping how electronics meet marketing and engineering requirements and support development from concept to implementation of new products. The role involves designing, prototyping, and validating electronics to improve the customer experience with Shark brand products. Duties & Responsibilities Design analog and digital circuits including low noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, communication interfaces, and power supplies (linear and switched-mode). Perform design, debugging, and board bring-up of analog and digital real-time embedded electronics for microprocessor-based control and communication hardware platforms using simulation, analysis, prototyping, and testing. Contribute to architecture, schematics, and software design; support DVT, DQTP, EMC and compliance testing. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and Product Marketing to provide initial cost estimates for EBOM and final product implementation based on product requirements. Design and development of consumer product electronics from concept to ongoing product support within the global development organization. Support fielded products and analyze field-reported issues. Functional Skills & Knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work independently and in a team, taking initiative with minimal guidance. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal abilities. Education & Experience BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years related experience, or advanced degree and 3+ years related experience. Previous industry experience with consumer products or in a consumer goods consultancy is highly desirable.
