Overview
As a Power System Design Engineer (for Robotics and Power tool), you will perform system analysis, schematic and PCB layout design of motor drive hardware including MCUs, sensors, power stages, protection circuits, etc., for robotic and power tool applications. Responsibilities
Perform system analysis, schematic and PCB layout design of motordrive hardware including MCUs, sensors, power stages, protection circuits for robotic and power tool applications. Perform system level validation tests and generate detail reports for hardware, firmware and GUI of motor drive systems. Work with the application marketing manager and other system application engineers to provide detailed technical support to customers to adopt Infineon’s motor drive system solutions. Write application notes and technical papers for motor drive systems. Develop technical training material and perform training/seminars for FAEs. Support FAEs and customers to solve technical issues. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in power converter design. Qualifications
MS in EE with minimum 3 years experience or BS in EE with minimum 5 years experience in power converter design. Hands-on experience in schematic and PCB design with EDA tools such as Cadence Allegro and Altium. Familiar with microcontrollers and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, CAN and Ethernet. Deep knowledge of robotics and motor drive systems. Good communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated with high level of self-discipline and a candid attitude. #WeAreIn

San Jose, CA Minimum of $126,560 base salary per year / Maximum of $174,020 base salary per year , plus eligibility to participate in an incentive plan.
