Responsibilities
Assist in the design and project management of commercial projects. Mentor junior staff and coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines. Develop electrical designs from concept through construction. Prepare engineering design calculations, layouts, reports, and narratives. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software; demonstrate strong analytical ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Support clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering 8+ years of experience in designing and managing MEP projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Strong experience in designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects Ability to mentor staff and coordinate with multiple disciplines Demonstrated familiarity with Local Building Codes & Standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills PE License desired Experience with Commercial, Government/Institutional, Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, and Municipal projects
Preferred, Not Required
LEED Accredited Professional and experience participating in LEED or other green rating systems Interest in sustainable building design
