****Aerovel (The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program)**** is looking for a ****Composite Technician**** to join our Manufacturing Operations team in ****Bingen, WA**.******Financial Rewards:**** Competitive base salary, incentive compensation which may include profit sharing schemes, retirement savings plan and the ability to participate in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”)* Ability to learn to read and interpret all common and accepted Blueprint/drawings types.* Performs composite manufacture and repair (as directed) related to molds, wet and prepare layup, re-work/repair of existing structures.* Ability to make repairs to common composite components.* Perform finish work including sanding and painting.* Create one of a kind molds and composite components for R&D (Research and Development).* Strict adherence to established safety, quality and manufacturing processes (Airbus, OEM, Regulatory bodies).* Self-Inspects Parts and Components where applicable.* Ability to use all related measuring devices/tools to ensure adherence to requested part/component documentation.* Perform in-depth inspection of outsourced composite components.* Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent* Minimum two (2) years’ experience in composite manufacture and repair or similar* Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license* General knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.* Time management skills, ability to multi-task and handle high volume workloads.* Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English* Some form of Technical/Professional/Vocational Training in the Composites field (apprenticeship, institutional training, etc.)* One (1)+ years of experience in Aerospace* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.* Have a clear understanding of Part 21 production processes.* Competent in Microsoft Office Systems such as Excel, Word, etc.* Competent in Google Suite
