Overview
MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently looking for an Architectural Project Manager - Bilingual English/Spanish to join our Client Programs Market team in Seattle, WA. You will be working in our Client Programs (CP) Market, focusing on project and client leadership through all phases of design and delivery on global and national building programs. Our new Project Manager will lead project teams through all phases of project execution including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration. They are responsible for managing project schedules and the financial performance of the work, building strong client relationships, and upholding MG2’s standard for design excellence as the main point of contact for all project-related communication. Responsibilities
Manage project teams through all project phases. Ensure project deliverables align with the contract, meet the project schedule and budget, and comply with MG2 standards for quality. Ensure required contracts are in place prior to beginning execution of contract deliverables. Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans. Create and maintain detailed Project Charters including a comprehensive QA/QC plan for all project work. Assist with the development of project proposals and RFP responses as requested. Continuously monitor project financial status and perform intermediate financial reviews with Team Leads or Principal-in-Charge (PIC). Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing. Produce weekly project updates with documentation on contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports; share updates with all project stakeholders. Lead or direct all internal and external project team meetings. Participate in Quality Control procedures including review of all externally distributed project deliverables. Oversee Construction Administration activities including weekly reviews of RFI and Submittal logs and attendance at project OAC meetings; review site visit reports and punch lists prior to issuance. Facilitate project debrief meetings after construction activities to identify opportunities for service improvement. Initiate project close-out procedures following substantial completion in alignment with contractual obligations. Manage internal and external resources to ensure consistent quality and project profitability. Provide ongoing performance feedback to team members and conduct monthly 1:1 check-ins (People Managers Only) and mid-year/year-end performance reviews (People Managers Only). Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field. 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm. Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Licensure as a professional registered architect preferred. Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery. Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Demonstrated expertise using collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams. Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions. Compensation: $80,000 to $152,000 (depending on qualifications) What We Offer
