We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative
Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our team focused on the development and optimization of
X-ray tube assemblies . This role is critical to expanding our product portfolio and analytical technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for X-ray tubes. Perform detailed CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and mechanical simulations. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs. Support prototype fabrication, testing, and validation of mechanical designs under operational conditions. Drive continuous improvement in design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change records in accordance with quality standards. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures or performance issues. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, including radiation shielding and thermal management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in high-vacuum or high-voltage environments. Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks). Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS or COMSOL) for structural and thermal analysis. Knowledge of materials selection for high-temperature and vacuum applications. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, brazing, and welding. Strong understanding of mechanical tolerancing and GD&T. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in X-ray tube or similar high-voltage and high vacuum product design. Knowledge of radiation shielding materials and design principles. Why Join Us?
