Job Title: Business Analyst - Intermediate Location: Merrillville, IN (Hybrid role with expectations of Tuesday-Thursday being in office) Duration:

3+ Months contract to Hire

(10/1/2025 to 12/31/2025)

Qualifications: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Telecom Analyst to support our telecommunications infrastructure modernization efforts. This role will focus on data cleanup, inventory management, and documentation related to the transition from legacy POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) lines to a replacement solution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in telecom systems and platforms like Tangoe, and a passion for process improvement.

2+ years of experience in telecom analysis, IT infrastructure, or related field. Familiarity with telecom systems, POTS lines, and VoIP technologies. Hands-on experience with Tangoe or similar telecom expense and inventory management platforms. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. bility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting telecom conversions or infrastructure upgrades. Knowledge of telecom billing and cost optimization. Familiarity with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Familiarity with the porting and RESPORG process for managing telephone number transitions. Responsibilities:

udit and validate existing telecom inventory records using tools such as Tangoe. Identify and correct discrepancies in line assignments, billing, and service documentation. Maintain accurate records of telecom assets, including circuits, endpoints, and service providers. Track and document the conversion of POTS lines to the designated replacement solution. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution of conversion tasks. Monitor progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure closure. Create and maintain detailed documentation of telecom infrastructure, including diagrams, service records, and change logs. Generate regular reports on conversion status, inventory updates, and issue resolution. Support compliance and audit requirements through accurate recordkeeping. Work closely with IT, facilities, and vendor teams to ensure alignment on telecom initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for telecom-related inquiries and troubleshooting. Coordinate with local contacts to ensure alignment on telecom conversion and inventory tasks. Collaborate with end users to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure minimal disruption during telecom changes.

Pay rate: $49.60-$58.58/hr depending on experience
