Your new job | About your main responsibilities As a Manager FP&A you’ll be part of the Business Consulting Finance team (BC Finance). You will work in multi-disciplinary teams for major brands, leading projects to drive business performance and digital finance transformation. We support clients across three pillars:
Business Planning, Reporting & Analytics (BPR&A), Global Business Services & Finance Operations (GBS), and Finance Strategy , including developing financial and integrated business plans, providing steering insights and reports, and leveraging advanced analytics and AI to enhance managerial decision making and drive firm performance. We support CFOs in adopting new technologies to build modern finance capabilities, aligning finance with business goals and ensuring functional and strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities Join or lead engagements within Business Consulting Finance, advising CFOs (C-level) in Finance Transformation, Digital Finance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Global Business Services. Collaborate with EY’s senior leadership to deliver Finance Transformation work across BPR&A. Activities include Drive one or more BPR&A solutions independently related to financial and integrated business planning, EPM, and CFO-led sustainability. Design scalable, efficient solutions for finance transformation, aligning client needs with industry best practices. Use data to provide insights and enable true business partnering in finance for sustainable growth and informed decisions. Engage with C-level stakeholders, foster talent development, lead organizational change management, and maintain high-quality delivery. Oversee projects from start to finish within timelines and budgets, ensuring client expectations and quality standards. Support change management to equip finance teams with required knowledge and skills. Lead and motivate high-performing teams; share knowledge to drive collaboration and improvement. Build relationships with senior client leaders; translate challenges into new business opportunities. Commit to personal development and ongoing knowledge in BPR&A and Finance technology. Your new team | About your colleagues and the office In Business Consulting – Finance, you will work in an engaged, international team with internal collaboration across Data Analytics, SAP, and Technology, and with other BC Finance teams globally. The 22nd floor offers city views, while Wavespace enables virtual collaboration across the globe. Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution Expertise in consulting with experience in
BPR&A
and at least one of:
Integrated Business Planning (IBP) ,
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) , or CFO-Led Sustainability (ESG). Familiarity with financial systems and tools (e.g., EPM, data platforms, ERP systems). Understanding of KPIs and metrics used in BPR&A; awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in finance. Knowledge of account management, business development, and the consulting sales cycle. Strong attention to detail; ability to storyboard and produce high-quality outputs. Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills. Proven success in leading and coaching teams; ability to manage multiple engagements and stakeholders, including budgets and risk mitigation. Experience in leading business development, building networks, responding to RFPs, and presenting at events. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); additional experience with SAP, Microsoft BI, ServiceNow, HighRadius, BlackLine is advantageous. Ideally, you’ll also have Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CMA/RC, CPA/RA, RE). Certification in technical business analysis and/or implementation management (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Oracle). Dutch language proficiency is a plus.
