Provide all aspects operational support for the DB2-UDB database environment. Ability to support additional DB or BI technologies is preferred. Write complex shell scripts for operational maintenance and automation. Automation - Shell/Perl Scripting (Python will be an add-on). Strong hands-on experience with DB2 HA/TSAMP and partitioning. Good command of DB2 basic concepts. DevOps mindset with at least basic GitLab knowledge. Knowledge of Ansible and Docker will add weightage. Highly skilled in DB2 LUW administration including installation, patching/upgrade, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Monitor and refine processes, procedures, and systems to optimize operational stability and/or integrity and recommend and/or implement improvements. Ability to maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and provide support for BCP exercises and actual disaster recovery. Qualifications

Mandatory Skills: DB2 UDB Admin. Experience: 8-10 years. Experience with DBA in other DBMS technologies such as SQL Server/Sybase. Experience in Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Kanban.
