Job Description The Audit & Collections Analyst will be responsible for supporting the audit and collections process by reviewing financial data, communicating with employers, and assisting with legal coordination related to collections. This is a great opportunity for professionals early in their accounting or finance careers looking to grow and develop key analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and send audit notification letters
Track audit progress and follow up on incomplete submissions
Review audit results and determine any outstanding contributions
Process audit-related payments and update financial records
Communicate with employers to resolve delinquencies
Provide administrative support for legal collections efforts
Monitor overpayments and assist in creating repayment plans
Maintain accurate documentation and update status reports
Liaise with external partners (attorneys, administrators, etc.) as needed
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or accounting support
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Professional communication and problem-solving ability
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
Auditing or trust fund experience is a plus
Additional Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Worksite: Onsite full-time; eligible for 2 remote days/week after conversion
Interviews: One in-person interview with skills test (Excel and math word problems)
Start timeline: Within 2 weeks of offer
