Overview
Client: Property Management Company Location: Glendora Position Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm Pay Rate: $110,000- $130,000/ Annually Job Description
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Accounting
Manage all aspects of accounting cycle (accounts payable, accounts receivable, rent processing, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and payroll via our outside payroll service.) Manage processes to ensure timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, and cash projection reports. Responsible for cash management, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and maintaining lines of credit. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports, including MISC-1099. Work with external tax accountants to comply with all tax requirements.
Operations Management
Manage internal property management operations, including:
Tenant interface Rent management/collection process Property maintenance coordination
Manage design overall operational processes/procedures.
Maintain effective internal controls over enterprise. Ensure timely accomplishment of deadlines.
Work directly with external insurance brokers and principals to manage all risks. Work directly with principals and outside legal professionals on leasing/contractual activities for business. Manage administrative/operations team. Manage effective control over all financial, legal, and administrative records. Maintain strict confidentiality over all business and family information and activities. Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Minimum 3 – 5 years of managing business operations, ideally in a real estate business.
