We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sr. Accounting Manager to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You’ll play a critical role in driving process improvements, enhancing financial accuracy, and supporting Arbor’s operational efficiency.
This role is based in El Segundo, CA. Open to remote.

Responsibilities
Lead the month/quarter/year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Analyze complex financial reports, maintain the general ledger, and prepare financial statements.
Assist with audits, including documentation, preparing schedules, and liaising with auditors.
Manage AP, AR and Fixed Asset accounting.
File periodic tax returns (Sales and Use, Unsecured Property)
Evaluate, document, and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of professional accounting experience (must have public accounting, audit, and/or corporate accounting) in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting software.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
Payroll accounting experience.
Experience with ERP integrations and accounting system automation.
Experience working in hardware, renewable energy, deep-tech, and/or manufacturing environments.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 a year, subject to the applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
