Actuarial Associate, Group Insurance Valuation Team (Hybrid)

The team performs valuation and reporting of all Group liabilities while also supporting many other business processes. A key part of this role will be developing an understanding of how the results produced by the team impact the overall Group Insurance business and its strategy.**The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business.** Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.**What you can expect:*** Supporting the financial reporting process for GAAP and STAT valuation basis.* ALM.* AAT.* Model programming, development, and testing.* Creating tools and new approaches for understanding drivers of financial results.* Producing liability cash flow projections for several uses.* Working closely with business partners to in supporting the business and strategy.**What you’ll need:*** Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.* Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams and working towards ASA designation.* Strong technical skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI etc.).* Highly motivated, well organized, and detail orientated.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.**It’d be a plus if you had:*** Actuarial internship or relevant experience preferred.* Programming Experience in any computer language is preferred but not required (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Visual Basic, C++, etc.).Prudential welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $69,200.00 to $103,000.00.
