2025-802**Underwriting Manager**Tokio Marine HCC, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an exciting growth opportunity for an **Underwriting Manager** in the Phoenix, AZ region.**Position Responsibilities**We are seeking an Underwriting Manager to join our highly collaborative team of underwriters.
The Underwriting Manager will manage surety business development activities, production, and underwriting within Phonix, AZ region.**Performance Objectives and Timeline*** **During the first 30 days:** Get to know the TMHCC Surety Group team, get up to speed on our systems, surety underwriting policies, procedures and philosophy, and internal resources.* **During the first 3 months:** Establish and build agency relationships, manage the regional underwriting of commercial surety bonds.* **During the first 6 months and beyond:** Develop business objectives, implement strategies to grow the regional surety business.# **Education and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience* Success characteristics:
+ Collaborative, team-first perspective
+ Excellent analytical and documentation skills
+ Keen eye for accuracy, details, thoroughness
+ Customer service mindset – responsive with external customers and internal colleagues
+ Excellent organizational skills
