Intellectual Property Associate

Job Overview: Our client, a prominent law firm specializing in intellectual property (IP) law, is seeking an IP Associate to join their team. The IP Associate will work on a variety of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. The role involves both transactional and litigation support for clients across different industries. Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on IP protection, management, and enforcement. Draft and negotiate IP agreements, including licensing agreements and assignments. Assist with patent and trademark filings, responses, and prosecution. Support IP-related litigation by conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. Help clients manage their IP portfolios and offer strategic advice. Stay informed on changes to IP law and provide insights to clients. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership. Experience or strong interest in intellectual property law. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects with attention to detail.
