Responsibilities include: Setting up new projects in the Job Cost System Processing payroll, insurance, and overhead allocations to projects Reviewing and tracking general ledger postings of construction draws for multiple projects Ensuring Subcontractor/Supplier Waivers of Lien are received and accurate Verifying compliance requirements such as W-9s, insurance certificates, and EEO documentation from subcontractors and suppliers Managing accounts receivable and understanding construction billing and collections Following up on outstanding invoices to maintain positive cash flow Assisting with special projects as needed Processing contracts and change orders accurately and promptly Analyzing project variances and collaborating with the project team for corrective actions Reporting on project profitability to management Working with clients to meet reporting needs Closing out project accounts upon completion Preparing government reports and tax returns related to projects Gathering information for external audits Qualifications: Relevant experience and skills, including a college degree in accounting or business administration preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered 2-5 years of experience, preferably in construction project accounting Excellent customer service and communication skills across all organizational levels Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel; experience with Sage Construction CRE 300 and Paychex is a plus Compensation and Benefits: Annual salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 401(k) retirement plan Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance Company-provided cellphone and computer Discretionary Year-End Bonus
