Role Purpose
A results-driven and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
is required to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong finance knowledge, hands-on experience in the Gulf market, and the ability to manage budgeting, reporting, taxation, and financial controls. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES Key Accountabilities
Key Activities 1.
Financial Management & Reporting
• Manage daily finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger. • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Generate financial analysis reports to support business strategy and cost control.
2.
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the budgeting process and monitor actuals against budgeted figures. • Prepare variance analysis and financial forecasts for management review.
3.
Internal Controls & Audit
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings effectively.
4.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
• Manage daily cash flow, bank transactions, and financial liquidity. • Optimize working capital and manage vendor payments and receivables.
5.
ERP & Financial Systems
• Oversee implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). • Ensure consistent use of accounting standards and systems.
6.
Strategic Finance Partner
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Group CEO/CFO and executive team. • Support evaluations, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and investment appraisals.
7.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead and mentor the finance team ensuring high performance and knowledge sharing. • Build a strong compliance and reporting culture aligned with the company values.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS Knowledge / Skills
• Strong command of
IFRS,
and relevant rules • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills • Proficient in accounting/ERP systems • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
Education /
Certifications • A degree in Finance, or a related field • Professional certification like
CA /CPA /CMA/ACCA
preferred
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity • Prior experience in Gulf region with knowledge of local financial regulations is a must
