AI Strat - Capital Solutions Group - Associate Level - Dallas We are seeking a talented individual to join Goldman Sachs Full Time in the Capital Solutions Group (CSG) as an Applied AI Strat at the Associate level on the CSG AI Strats team in Dallas. Capital Solutions Group (CSG) The Capital Solutions Group (CSG) is a dynamic and rapidly growing division within Goldman Sachs, created to deliver comprehensive financing, origination, structuring, and risk management solutions to corporate and investor clients. CSG is at the forefront of adopting cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges, particularly in the realm of alternative investments and private credit. As part of the "One Goldman Sachs" initiative, CSG leverages the firm\'s market-leading advisory franchise and deep origination business to provide seamless, connected, and comprehensive coverage to our private equity and private credit clients, while offering the best possible suite of financing options to our issuing clients. The CSG AI Strats team within CSG is responsible for building and deploying Generative AI applications that transform how Goldman Sachs operates and serves its clients. We focus on developing solutions across four key areas: Assistant:
AI-chat based question answering systems, deep research, and analyst tools Generation:
AI-powered content creation for tasks like drafting memos, reports, and presentations Automation:
AI-driven solutions for information retrieval and workflow automation Agent:
Semi-autonomous AI agents capable of orchestrating and executing complex tasks As an Applied AI Strat, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying these innovative AI solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver commercial value. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team, contributing to the firm\'s strategic goals through the application of cutting-edge AI technologies. You will focus on rapidly developing and refining features for Generative AI applications, leveraging coding assistants and modern software engineering practices to accelerate the delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications across Assistant, Generation, Automation, and Agent domains. Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features, leveraging coding assistants to accelerate development cycles. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into AI-powered solutions. Build and maintain scalable and robust AI models and pipelines. Integrate new structured and unstructured datasets into models. Contribute to the development of best practices for AI development and deployment within CSG. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or above in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics). Strong programming experience in Python and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Proven ability to rapidly develop and deploy features using coding assistants and modern software engineering tools. Solid foundation in AI principles and practices, including machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning. Experience with prompt engineering techniques for optimizing the performance of large language models. Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and deploying Generative AI applications using frameworks such as Langchain. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
