Full Stack Engineering Developer (Finance) You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes by leveraging your technical expertise in operational technology systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the overall success of our aerospace manufacturing operations and enhance our competitive edge. Honeywell Aerospace Technology's "Automation & Digitization" team is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Developer to work in the Digitization Team to support Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and Operations. An ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated individual that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of Ignition-based solutions for our industrial automation projects. As a Full Stack Engineering Developer here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule. YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or related roles. Experience with programming languages and automation software tools. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C# or C++. Familiar with communication protocols like MQTT, OPC, Kafka, REST/SOAP API Experience with Database Platforms like MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres WE VALUE Experience in the aerospace industry or similar high-tech environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automation. Ignition certified (Inductive Automation) Experience with equipment programmable logic control (PLC) & industrial robot programming. Understanding of AGILE practices, experience in all phases of development process Previous experience in a mentorship or leadership role, guiding junior team members in Ignition development projects Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, data analytics, and optimization techniques Knowledge of control systems and process optimization techniques. Experience with Ignition modules such as Vision, Perspective, MES, and Reporting KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement advanced digital solutions for aerospace applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into existing processes. Conduct feasibility studies to identify areas for adoption of digital technology. Support Operations Team To integrate new and/or existing equipment and interfaces to other MES and SPC utilities as needed Meet with Operations team members, often in the manufacturing areas to build business requirements and understand the needs Follow standard established solution architecture and principles Process Optimization and Automation: Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes through the integration and optimization of software solutions.
