to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of our Data/ML Platform. Tampa, FL . Responsibilities
Testing and validating the performance of ML models Assisting with data acquisition, ingestion, and tagging Data exploration and understanding to identify valuable insights Feature extraction and analysis to engineer effective AI/ML models Data engineering and conditioning to ensure data quality and consistency Data labeling to create high-quality training datasets Constructing, training, and validating AI/ML datasets Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience performing data science activities including data exploration, feature engineering, model building, training, and validation 2+ years of experience working with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) 1+ year experience using scripting languages such as R or Python for data analysis and model development 1+ year experience using Big Data technologies and tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, Druid, Flink, Drill, Trino, NoSQL) for large-scale data processing Experience with a variety of open source and commercial AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) Ability to manipulate raw data into effective visualizations and actionable insights; ability to communicate end-to-end data outcomes visually to both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrates a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques Strong understanding of SQL and experience querying relational databases; comfortable in a project startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and initiative US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience A Data Science Certification OR a cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP focused on data science or AI/ML services Previous experience supporting the DoD; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or in lieu of degree, 3 years of equivalent industry experience This position is located in
Tampa, FL . The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset. EEO and Compliance
