to join our Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This is a

position at the William J. Hughes Technical Center. RMLS is the FAA’s logging system for recording maintenance work performed on facilities in the National Airspace System (NAS). RMLS provides a rich database of unstructured text; reading every log file. Responsibilities
Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS. Collaborate with agile teams to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications in alignment with FAA requirements. Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure software reliability, security, and performance in real-time environments. Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing. Provide detailed reports on test results and recommendations for improvements. Assist with manual testing as needed. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives within an Agile team environment. Provide feedback on the testing process, suggesting areas of improvement in automation practices. Assist with RMLS troubleshooting and Help Desk Support. Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule and occasional non-standard work hours. Occasional travel (less than 5%). Qualifications
Education Requirement All Non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years related work experience in a computer science or math field. OR Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and nine (9) years related work experience in a computer science or math field. OR PhD or Doctorial in a related field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Required Skills C# Java Python HTML CSS Test Automation using test tools such as Selenium, MSTest, NUnit, ExtentReports, Jenkins, Appium, and/or Playwright. Writing test documentation, such as test cases/procedures and reports. Experience in:
Mobile testing with a strong focus on iOS/Android applications. Appium and XCUITest for mobile automation. Mobile app release cycles, provisioning profiles, and deployment pipeline.
Have strong attention to details. Ability to:
Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks Work independently, as well as on a team. Troubleshoot and isolate defects within a complex software system. Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication.
Preferred Skills Experience in:
API Testing using Postman. Performance Testing using JMeter. Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework for automation testing on .NET applications, such as Specflow. DevOps and Continue Integration/Continuous Delivery or Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for continuous testing and validation. Working on Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), using JIRA or similar defect/bug tracking tools.
Familiar with:
Xcode iOS Simulators iOS debugging tools
Essential Daily Job Duties
