Peraton is currently hiring for a: Senior Cyber Data Scientist to join our Federal Strategic Cyber Programs. Location: Rosslyn, VA & Beltsville, MD Schedule: Hybrid (On-site & Remote) Position Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Cyber Data Scientist to lead data integration and operationalization efforts across our cybersecurity programs. As a thought leader in Data Management, you’ll play a critical role in developing predictive models, detection algorithms, and automated alerting systems. Your work will span collaboration with Security Operations Center engineers, threat hunters, and AI/ML teams to enhance detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and anticipate emerging threats. You’ll also be a partner with data teams to implement best practices in data governance and strategy. This leadership role demands initiative, strong communication, and independent guidance. What You’ll Do

Extract actionable intelligence from raw cyber data using advanced analytics and modeling. Generate insights to inform threat detection and response. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance DoS’s data management capabilities. Define and drive strategic direction for cyber data management, aligned with broader cybersecurity goals.
