Job Description:
This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to achieve business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements, and designing solutions with maintainability, ease of integration, and testability in mind from the start. The role requires strong knowledge of development and testing practices, as well as architectural patterns.
Responsibilities:
Code solutions and perform unit testing to deliver requirements/story per acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers, maintaining architectural integrity.
Mentor other software engineers and coach teams on CI/CD practices and automation tools.
Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate work needed throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Perform spikes/proofs of concept as needed to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Automate manual release activities.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

Candidates should possess advanced problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well in a team environment, research, and resolve issues independently is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence teams across technology and business are required. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of development experience, preferably in the financial industry. Java/J2EE, Object-Oriented design and programming, Spring (Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Boot is a plus). Experience with ORM/Persistence Frameworks: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, Kafka, JPA. Knowledge of SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, Microservices, CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS, JSON, XML. Experience with Source Control tools: Bitbucket, SVN, Perforce, or similar. Proficiency with Maven, TDD, CI, JUnit, Mockito. Familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse, RAD, or others. Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Cassandra, Hadoop, Kafka, MQ. Knowledge of RIA frameworks: jQuery, Angular, YUI, Ext JS, Dojo, Vue.js. Experience with RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server. Front-end web development skills: JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax, SASS.
