Senior Technical Lead, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure

You will join our Water team As our Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be part of an internationally leading company in integrated water infrastructure. Our business strategy emphasizes sustainability and a genuine aspiration to do more good. You will work with Ramboll’s international community of interdisciplinary colleagues across the Americas and globally. Responsibilities
Serve as a Technical Lead on larger, complex programs. Lead quality reviewer of work products developed by others and coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines into final design deliverables (including calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates). Prepare technical approaches for proposals and fee estimates for water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects. Train and mentor design and engineering staff. Participate in relevant professional affiliations to strengthen technical skills and represent Ramboll’s capabilities through technical presentations. Your starting point for constant growth
B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering with 12+ years of experience desired; demonstrated expertise accepted. Technical expertise in water and wastewater linear infrastructure design, including large diameter water transmission mains, sewage force mains and gravity systems, CSO, and/or stormwater conveyance systems. Experience with pumping stations and water storage design is a plus. Strong personnel development skills with experience mentoring engineers and designers. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information to clients, the public, and technical societies. Trenchless pipe installation and rehabilitation technologies experience. Professional certification or licensure in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and/or Midwest regions with ability to obtain multiple licenses via reciprocity. Client-facing experience with strong existing client relationships in the water/wastewater infrastructure and/or resiliency field is a plus. About Ramboll
