Overview
AmLaw 100 firm is currently seeking a Securities Litigation associate, preferably for its New York, California, or D.C. offices. Applicants should have at least four (4+) years of relevant experience. Superior academic credentials, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills a must.
Responsibilities
Handle civil and regulatory securities litigation matters for corporate and individual clients.
Represent issuers (including Fortune 100 and leading technology and life science companies) and their directors and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation, and other securities-related civil actions.
Assist with active internal investigations, regulatory matters, and white-collar defense work, including representing audit and special committees in internal investigations related to accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, or anti-bribery violations such as the FCPA.
Defend companies and individuals in DOJ and SEC investigations and regulatory proceedings.
Requirements
4+ years of relevant Securities Litigation experience.
Superior academic credentials.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Bar admission in the state of the office or eligibility to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
The base salary range for this position is: $310,000 - $445,000 + bonus + benefits
